At the Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware, we offer expert anesthetic care and pain management provided by Dr. Laurie Sorrell-Raschi, who is a board certified anesthesiologist with almost twenty years experience in the field.  Dr. Sorrell-Raschi is dedicated to making the anesthetic process as safe and comfortable for patients as possible. 

In addition to her primary role overseeing VSCD's anesthesia services, Dr. Sorrell-Raschi provides pain management services to patients throughout our hospital.  She has a wealth of experience with multiple pain management techniques, including therapeutics (such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, opioids, etc.) and local anesthetic/analgesic techniques such as epidurals, nerve blocks, and regional blocks.  Dr. Sorrell-Raschi is also trained in veterinary acupuncture, which can be a valuable therapy for patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatment, and chronic pain management.
