Dr. Andrea Lam has extensive training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders affecting skin, coat, ears, and nails in all species. She offers specialized diagnostic and treatment options including:  skin and ear cytology, intradermal allergy testing, allergen-specific immunotherapy, biopsy, laser therapy, microbial culture, video otoscopy, myringotomy, and deep ear canal cleaning.

A board-certified veterinary dermatologist is a veterinarian who has completed extensive training in dermatologic and allergic disorders, and is certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD). This certification requires several years of additional training beyond the eight required for veterinary school, plus passing a rigorous examination.
