The Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware (VSCD) invites an emergency veterinarian to join our progressive team of 24/7 emergency, critical care, surgery, rehabilitation, cardiology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, radiology/ultrasound/16-slice CT, oncology and anesthesiology doctors.   Looking for motivated, team-driven, internship-trained candidates. An interest in teaching is also desirable for our interns and externs.

VSCD is an AAHA-accredited regional referral hospital drawing clients from Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. Located in New Castle, DE off of the I-95 corridor – one hour south of Greater Philadelphia, PA, and one hour north of Baltimore, MD, with close proximity to Southern New Jersey and the entire state of Delaware. We see 28,000 cases hospital-wide annually.

Established in 2000, VSCD currently operates a 10,000 square foot building with cutting edge diagnostic, surgical and inventory equipment, allowing the tools and resources you need to provide progressive care. Our Rehabilitation Center at our main campus offers a heated therapy pool, water treadmill and exercise area, staffed by veterinarians and hydrotherapists. We also operate a satellite location for specific specialties an hour south of our main hospital, and are expanding our main campus in 2017 in New Castle to accommodate the addition of new specialists to meet the needs of our growing client base.

By covering a large area in the Delmarva region we have an exceptional, established reputation with our referring community and promote a friendly, state-of-the-art environment in a comfortable community.
